Boro (Pyrex)

Borosilicate glass is a very hard glass that was developed by Dow Corning originally for scientific glassware, then it was adapted for stove top cookware.  But now is available for the artist in a rainbow of wonderful colors.  This is probably the best glass for bracelet beads because it is very difficult to even chip.  It works at a very hot temperature and is a bit temperamental for the artist.  But when it is behaving I can get the most glorious colors!

Blue Jester
Small beads with little triangle shaped flags inside.  Also a few matching beads without the pattern.  These can be made in your choice of colors.  I've done them in red, blue, green, peach and several others.

Coral Boro

Here's a group of beads in many different shapes including jesters, satellites, and urchins along with solid colors.  This color combination is just marvelous but you could choose your own.

Harlequin Whimsy

Pick your favorite colors for these beads!  Deep blue, red, pink, and soft yellow, you choose....Then I make them into a group of go together beads for your designs.

Luster Ribbons

Deep burgundy centers with pretty metallic blue/green ribbons and dots on their surface.  The ribbons are always the same color but the inside is your choice.
Mountain Sunrise
Here's a bunch of spun glass beads using aqua, ruby and light gold.  These are smooth beads, all encased under clear crystal.  I've shown these with matching spacers.
Mystic Purple
These are really tiny beads.  They have tiny trapped bubbles either at the center of each eye or between the eyes.  Really pretty and marvelous bracelet beads.
New Dawn
A deep burgundy center with soft clouds and tangerine swirls to mimic patterns you see at dawn on the morning clouds.
Pebbles
I think these look just like a pebble at the bottom of a stream when you look through the water.  These have hints of matrix with primarily blues and purples.  They could also be done in greens or soft purples.
Plum/blue Spacers
Simple beads with a beautiful rainbow of colors.  Again, they could be made in a number of colors.
Pop goes the Boro
This was an experiment with colors that are opposite on the color wheel.  Peach centers and purple dots.  Spectacular!
Shimmering Rainbow
Another set of spun glass beads.  These might be a bit hard to duplicate.  Boro colors are a bit fickle.  But, I'm willing to try if you are willing to take a chance!
Teal Boro
I picked up all the different shades of green that I happened to have that day.  This is what came out.  Could be pretty in blues or reds too!
Trade Beads
These got their name from a trade that I made recently with another glass artist.  I got a lovely fused plate and she got these.  I think it was a terrific trade!
Turquesa Exotica
A Turquoise Leopard?  Beautiful blue beads with deep chocolate spots.  Again, it might be a bit difficult to duplicate.
